In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we kindly ask you to observe the following rules:
For safety reasons, children aged 12 and over may attend evening concerts only if accompanied by a parent or guardian and in possession of a ticket. Please note that we offer children great opportunities to enjoy the festival during the day with our free children’s programme and supporting programme. Parents are responsible for supervising their children.
In order to finance the free supporting programme and keep admission prices low, we rely on beverage sales. Therefore, it is not permitted to bring beverages into the courtyard of the town hall – with the exception of drinking bottles for small children. Please use the toilets located there.
Advertising of any kind, especially with flyers and posters, is prohibited on the event grounds in front of and behind the town hall so that the area looks clean and we can keep waste disposal costs down. We also kindly ask you to dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided.
And one more request: please be fair to our security staff at the entrance, who are doing their (not always easy) job there. As you know, we have invited international stars to the festival who require a high standard of security from us. We are therefore obliged to search bags etc. for weapons at the entrance to the congress centre. The less you bring with you to the evening concerts, the quicker you can be admitted. Furthermore, film, photo and audio recordings are not permitted for visitors to the evening concerts.
Taxi drivers in front of the Hotel Maritim, right next to the Congress Centre, will ensure you get home safely.
