An important part of the FAZ is the Young Africa Centre (JAZ). It serves as a platform for all students interested in Africa, doctoral students, and members of the academic mid-level faculty interested in Africa. The JAZ promotes professional, interdisciplinary exchange among young academics. Since 2008, excerpts from these activities have been presented to a broad public in the university tent at the Africa Festival in W\u00fcrzburg. This partnership has now existed for 15 years and has even been intensified in recent times. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>One example of this is the photo exhibition on Nelson Mandela, photographed by J\u00fcrgen Schadeberg, which was on display at the JMU. The Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, H.E.
